campaign against the rodeo in Cologne
- The big
"8 seconds" lie -
On July 28 and 29, 2007, rodeos will take place in Cologne on the race
track in Cologne-Weidenpesch.
As in Spanish benefit bullfights, the proceeds from a raffle will go
to a good cause, in this case a horse rescue organization! (Kölner
Schutzhof für Pferde).
Please support our campaign to get it stopped and protest by either
writing
your own letter or using the sample:

Dear Sirs,
I consider rodeo as cruelty to animals. It gives children a very
bad example on how to treat animals and should not take place in
Cologne. The town's reputation will be severely damaged and tourism
will be affected negatively.
