In this fiesta the bulls are released in the village square where darts are blown into them from blowpipes. The prefered targets being the eyes and testicles. Pony Roundabouts
A common sight in fair grounds and play areas around the coastal resorts of Spain, are live pony roundabouts.Small ponies are fastened into metal headpieces and are forced to work as parts of a living roundabout. They toil though the heat of the day until as late as three in the morning.
FAACE has seen them located between other fairgrounds rides which have their music booming out so loud that it is deafening.

Fights Against Cruelty To All Animals
FAACE is a UK based organisation that campaigns to stop the torture and death of animals in the name of entertainment.
The suffering of animals is not confined within national borders, neither is the work of FAACE.
FAACE specialises in campaigning against: Bullfighting, Blood Fiestas,Rodeo and the Grand National horse race.
Since 1987 FAACE has been working on the issue of the Blood Fiestas of Spain.
Vicki and Tony Moore of FAACE have confronted the authorities and the people, in the Spanish towns where such acts of sadism take place.
FAACE is not Anti-Spain, but Anti-Cruelty.
FAACE has saved the lives of some of the animal victims.
FAACE gives a voice to the tortured animals.
FAACE has made a real difference.
FAACE is totally voluntary and is run by Tony Moore.
